London Walking Tour with Westminster Abbey and Changing of the Guard

A Must!

I took the 9am tour on March 24th with Stephen. He was phenomenal! Westminster Abbey is incredible and so much more than a church. There was so much to learn and see and Stephen did a wonderful job on guiding our group throughout the tour and ensuring that we saw all the most important sites. He was extremely patient, took care to keep us all together, answered all questions, and was very respectful of the abbey and all those who rest within. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge and I don’t know how he manages to retain so much history! We also got to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the corner of 10 Downing Street, and the changing of the guard which was quite special and we had an excellent view! London is so rich in history and for better or worse, it’s fascinating! This and my tour of The Tower of London were two of the highlights of my trip! During my two weeks in Europe, I took 3 tours (including the Louvre in Paris) and all my experiences were top notch! I can’t wait to book another tour with The Tour Guide for my next trip. :)

We had such a lovely tour, and highly recommend you book the morning group visit to the Abbey and the changing of the Guard. We had the pleasure of spending the tour with Jackie and she is quite knowledgable. She kept a good pace and found us all the best views for the changing of the guard. A Wonderful Experience

A wonderful experience. Dan did an outstanding job. He is very knowledgeable and his presentation was superb. I can’t imagine anyone could do a better job. We highly recommend!

Amazing!

Jeremy was awesome in every way—from his great storytelling to his tricks to ensuring we saw the changing of the guard ceremony in its full pomp close up. We learned so much about Westminster Abbey and the royal family.

Excellent tour

I highly recommend this tour! The tour covers sights that would have been missed on a self-tour, and helped with timing of activities, such as the Changing of the Guard. Jane was very knowledgeable and personable! Great pacing, and fun!

Really special!

This tour was magnificent! Edwin was the quintessential British professor with more knowledge than the history books AND a witty delivery! Our family thought this was really special and sacred to be in the abbey with a thousand years of history literally under our feet and all around us. The tour is worth it because you go directly into the Abbey without lines and masses. I recommend the 9 am tour before the crowd gets thick.

Westminster Abbey and Changing of the Guard

Arianna was the best of the best tour guide that we have had since in Paris and London. We have taken at least 6 tour guides and this was the best one. Arianna was very professional and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to how us the best of times. We were impressed with her knowledge of Westminster Abbey but she really went above and beyond on taking us to the changing of the guard. Arianna took us to the best locations to see the activities. We will cherish these memories thanks to Arianna.
