Very, very glad we got the tour with Marianne. We only had that morning for the enormous Met museum and she really made it count. We covered a lot of ground and a lot of art history, where otherwise we would’ve just been wandering around. Wish she could be our tour guide everywhere!

Nina our guide was very knowledgeable and provided a great path through the masterpieces. Without her, I am sure we would not have be able to take in 1/4 of what we saw. It's a Must do!!

Our guide Nina was FABULOUS. She took us on a journey through the ages, provided the backstory/ history that made the pieces gradually build on each other. The three hours flew by and felt it was well worth the money. If you book this tour, request Nina. She was the chefs kiss- perfecto!

The 3 hour tour flew by… so much to see.. so much to learn. The museum is HUGE but Nina guided our group through the crowds while highlighting important works of art and provided the backstory to each piece. This tour is so worth the money! Be sure to request Nina!

Phil was very knowledgeable about the museum and art and gave great guide and background to the arts in the museum which we would never paid attention to if we went by ourselves. Because of his guide, we had very fun and great experience visiting the MET. It was a well-spend 2 and a half hours. We gained a lot of knowledge through his tour. Otherwise we would be overwhelmed by the volume of the arts in the museum and totally would have been lost looking for our desired pictures and objects. Also, he gave us good instructions in advance, so we didn’t get lost or frustrated where to meet him. All people of my group enjoyed it! Thank you, Phil!

My group enjoyed the personable tour provided by Phil through the MET. We would’ve been lost in that big, beautiful space and wasted so much time. Phil was able to to provide the highlights for us, allowing us to see a decent amount of art in our three hour time slot. His tidbits of art history were interesting, especially his willingness to answer our questions and engage in conversation. At the end of the tour, our group of four agreed that was a very wonderful value! I highly recommend booking The Tour Guy if you’re trying to navigate the beast that is The Met!

Ryan was excellent. He was polite, helpful, enthusiastic, and really knew the layout of the Met and all it contained. He was a total delight. The 3 hours flew by. He took the extra time after the tour ended to get us quickly to the Met cafe for lunch. Loved it and will certainly suggest it to friends.

Can’t recommend Ryan high enough. He’s so knowledgeable. He showed us more in 3 hours than we ever could have done ourselves. This is a must if its your first time to the MET. The place is huge and there is no way you can see the highlights and special art (that would be easy to walk by) in a day without a tour guide. He provided us with all the background, history, that made the art come alive for us. What a wonderful day we had!!

I took this tour on October 2, 2022. Booking online went well, no issues. We met our tour guide Nina at the appointed time (we did have confusion finding the correct meeting area). Nina was right on time and led us thru the MET for the next few hours. She was very knowledgeable on the Artists, their style, what they were best known for and additional historically significant facts. Making the art come to life. It was the perfect first introduction to the MET. The tour covered a lot of significant areas and all of its most important pieces. THANK YOU NINA!

Nina was excellent. She gave informative depth to the highlight tour, providing new links to art evolution from Greek sculptures through impressionists and Picasso. We've been on Met tours before but it was great having her perspectives.
