Aida was a warm and wonderful host to guide us through the Louvre. We highly recommend her as a guide - she is extremely knowledgeable about the exquisite art you are seeing and, as a former teacher, clearly explains the history, techniques and meaning of each piece of art as well the backgrounds of the artists. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her! The Tour Guy tour started right on time, and as a group we were well looked after. Highly recommend.

Summer was wonderful!

Summer was the best tour guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us insight into the Louvre, both the building itself and its contents, that we would never have discerned alone. She checked up on our group frequently to make sure everyone was comfortable and was very easy to understand and follow. It was one of the best, if not the best, guided tour I have ever taken.

Touring the Louvre with The Tour Guys was an experience I won’t regret! Although this wasn’t my first time at the museum, it was my first time with a guide, and it made a huge difference. The museum can be overwhelming, but our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and made navigating the space effortless. I learned so much more about the art pieces, including the Mona Lisa, than I did when exploring on my own. Plus, having a guide meant skipping the long entry lines and coat check, making the experience even smoother. The meetup point was easy to find, and the provided headset ensured we could hear everything clearly. If you want to truly appreciate the Louvre without getting lost in the crowds, this is the way to go

The perfect antidote to jetlag

Don't hesitate to book. Super interesting and the kind of insight that makes you want to learn more and spend even more time there! I booked this for the first morning of our arrival, knowing we would not be able to check into the hotel yet and that we needed to keep moving. Even sleep-deprived, this was SO GOOD. PLUS, our guide, Anaïs, showed us all how to check our coats and larger items in the lockers, find restrooms, and avoid tacky tourist food traps. :-) Kudos all the way around. Would go again, will definitely book with The Tour Guy.

Fantastic Tour

So happy we had Avi to guide us through the Louvre with incredible knowledge about the art and its rich and fascinating historical, political, and social context! Was great to have a guide with a fantastic ability to make statues seem lively and giant art works approachable lead us through the hordes of visitors at the entrance and make our few hours meaningful and memorable. Merci beaucoup!

A great afternoon

Hugo took great care of us for an afternoon; getting us in quickly and showing us the history to start, showing the highlights, and of course getting us close to the Mona Lisa and giving us knowledge about her and the painter.
