Rome Catacombs Tour and Capuchin Crypts with Transportation

Super cool tour

This tour was great from start to finish due to our guide Fiona. She was so knowledgeable, upbeat, and told us so much about Rome even during the transportations. She was also very clear to understand in English, which was nice. In regards to the tour stops themselves, this really was an interesting thing to do compared to the typical Rome tours, and we are so glad we added it to the itinerary. The crypts decorated with bones was odd and a bit creepy, but i was expecting it to feel a bit evil, and it didn’t. So if you are worried about that, it’s fine! The system was very efficient and felt very safe with the drivers as well. 10/10!

The tour guide was amazing he paid extra attention to our 9 year old son, it was like he had his own personal tour guide. I wish I remembered his name, but he was funny and informative. The Bone Church was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. This is definitely a must do

Catacombs Tour was very interesting!

I very much enjoyed seeing the catacombs and hearing about the history and details about them. The tour guide from the site was very knowledgeable and answered every question well. Davide, the tour guide did a very thorough job. Personally I found the catacombs of more interest than the crypts.

We had an amazing time on our tour. Monika was very informative and pleasant. She had a flare of humor with her instructions and made it a lot of fun.

Interesting but not well informed

Tour was interesting at a good pace. At the end of the tour we asked our guide where we could find a taxi back to our hotel. He explained they “don’t have taxi stands” here in Rome. We should just start walking and try to flag down a taxi. A day later we found out this was totally incorrect. There are actual taxi stands with big signs saying “taxi stand”. By the end of the tour the young man’s manner changed from engaging to seemingly annoyed at any questions which made his incorrect information more of an issue. This was the first of two tours we took with this company and although their intention seemed good, the delivery needs work. With a guide that emphatically stated a common thing like transport within his city and the next tour that made me feel like I was being quizzed I will pass on this company for the remainder of this trip.

I want to marry Mateo!! what a great tour

we had the most incredible time on the tour with Mateo, his knowledge is unlimited, he has great sense of humor, charizma and a peacefull vibe. the tour was interseting and uniqe, the headset was very comfortable and of high quiality, and it was nice having the privet shuttle cars. this is our 5th time in Rome, and that was by far the most unforgetable experience of our trip

Monika was an enthusiastic and well informed guide. She did a terrific job keeping the tour on a good pace. We enjoyed our time on this tour. Our first stop were the crypts. Monika was very good at explaining the philosophy of the Capuchins. Yet after all those remains, I couldn’t wait to leave the bones behind. The catacombs were led by guides from the catacombs (religious, archaeologists, etc.). Thought the catacombs were fascinating!
