I've been a biker for years and think this is a fabulous way to see an area. You are intimate with what is going on, you can take your time and it is a lot of fun. We arrived at the tour office early. We were fitted and then went to a neighborhood restaurant for a coffee and croissant. Our guide was Demitri. He was very knowledgeable about Rome and all the sites + we visited. The first place was right across from the store. It was a stadium in ancient times and they had horse races going on the day of the tour. There were a lot of fun facts about Rome. All the sites we saw were stunning. Something about seeing them in person. Even stopped for Pizza. :) Dimitri was great. Can't say enough good about him. I have one recommendation: An e-bike is not the same animal as a bike. I would suggest that if you want to take this tour (which I recommend) that you rent an e-bike in your hometown and learn how to use it. Get that piece out of the way. Some things that you have to overcome are the cobble stone streets. That is a different dimension. The other piece are the walkers and traffic. Most of the tour is on designated bike paths there are times that you have to cross the streets and ride through crowds. Also the people have no awareness of you. They are out on their cell phones, talking, talking pictures. They do not hear you or your bike bell. I'm sure in a few trips I'd get very good and weaving in/out like everyone else. Practice before you come. It will make this tour more enjoyable.

We had an amazing time doing this e bike tour and really got to see so much more of Rome. Our guide was amazing at navigating through the streets and ensuring we got to experience everything while learning the history behind this great city. Definitely looking forward to coming back and doing this again.

Our guide Paul, was so knowledgeable and friendly. We visited amazing sites and were given the history of Rome and the significance of all the ruins in a condensed but very impactful way. And so much easier to get around on electric bikes. We loved every minute.

This was hands down one of the best tours we have done and we have done many. Our guide Monica was just amazing. She has a degree in Art History and was the perfect tour guide. Her knowledge of every building, story etc was incredible. Such a fantastic way to see so much of Rome in just 4 hours. The riding was easy with the e-bikes. I was a bit nervous riding in crazy Rome streets but Monica made it all easy and safe. We saw things we would never have seen otherwise including hidden alleyways. Just the best. Our 2 teenage girls also loved it. 10 star rating. Highly recommend. Worth every cent and then some. Absolutely loved it.

This was a great tour with excellent e-bikes and our guide Monica was fantastic! Her knowledge of Rome and the history of the sites is outstanding. If you take this tour ask for her!!! The tour it self was absoltuely fantastic! You get to see all of the sites as well as learn the history. You are going down back streets an getting to see parts of real Rome not just the tourist stuff. The ebikes are easy to operate and if you go up some hills, and you will, just turn up the assist an it will take you right up the hill with minimal effort. By far this is the best tour we took while in Rome and we highly recommend it!!!

We spent 4 hours on a private tour of Rome with Ali. The battery operated bikes were made it easy to navigate the streets and alleys. If you are looking for a way to tailor a tour of the major sites and visiting several different areas (Jewish Ghetto, Trastevere, etc.), this is definitely the best way to experience Rome. Ask for Ali as a tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable concerning history, neighborhoods and drinking/dining options.

First of all- Monica made this tour and our food tour of Trastevere so great. She’s so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and sights of Rome. And she’s great fun! Highly recommend this tour for anyone. The ease of the electric bike made it so enjoyable to cover a good part of the city stopping at all the major sites and then some. We are in our 60’s and not especially active and had a great time.

We had such a fun morning with Merel! Our e-bike tour was a highlight of our trip to Rome. Over four hours we had a chance to see all of the major sights, and because it was a private tour we were able to go at our own pace and really customize the journey. Merel was really knowledgeable and shared a lot of history with us as part of the tour. Would highly, highly recommend this experience!

Great morning out on the cobbles with lovely Francesca. Saw out of the way areas of Rome not included in the 7 hour tour of Vatican City and main city centre archaeological sites. Highlight was definitely Trastevere across the river. Good fun on electric bikes.
